On Friday 12th September at Huntingdon Cambridgeshire 55 archers from across the Civil Service competed in the 58th National Civil Service championships. The rounds shot were the York and the Hereford with dry and bright conditions although there was a troublesome right to left breeze.

Bob finished the day with a 1178, beating the MOD into second and third place by 32 points and 56 points respectively, to become National Civil Service Compound Champion winning the NICSSA cup.

 

Bob also picked up the veterans trophy to go with his KAA veteran Award won at the Kent Championships in August.
